Spring Introductory Letter

The decision to play for Warren Hockey is something that should be taken seriously. Playing hockey requires a significant financial and time commitment on the part of the player and their family. It also should be noted that, even if you played for Warren in the previous season, there is no guarantee that you will make the same team or any team for the upcoming season.

We recommend that you carefully read all of the material provided during the registration process.

The AHAI Participation Form must be completed and submitted to Registrar Russ Sharpe at the rink before your child takes the ice at tryouts or online to rsharpe@trianglepackage.com. There are additional forms to review and keep for your reference.

The cost for Warren hockey includes: ice time, referee costs, league fees, team equipment and coaches' salaries. The WBLHA makes every effort to keep costs as low as possible. The fee for the 2018 Spring season is $315. Goalies will receive a 50% discount on fees.

Personal checks should be made payable to "WBLHA" and can be mailed to P.O.  Box 255, Gurnee, IL  60031 OR given to Warren Hockey Treasurer Dan Joyce.

If a player drops out after the registration process has been completed, but before the first practice begins, there will be a $50 administrative charge.  Any player not offered a roster spot would be given a full refund.

Warren Hockey has adopted the Warren Township High School Athletic Code of Conduct as well as the Warren Academic Standards. All of these standards, organization, and team rules apply to all participants and their families.

Each player, along with both parents, will be required to read and sign the Player & Parent Code of Conduct before they can participate with the team.

If you have any questions about the registration process or forms, please contact Russ Sharpe at  rsharpe@trianglepackage.com

If you know of anyone who is interested in playing Warren Hockey and did not receive a registration packet, please have them contact Hockey Director Ryan Anderson  or visit our website at www.warrenhockey.com for more information.

We look forward to another great season of hockey for Warren Township High School.
